Overview

The Luxe Software Development Kit (SDK) has been installed on your Luxe terminal.
Available with your Luxe SDK are the following:

To access any of these sections, simply click on the appropriate link.

NOTES:

  1. If you use Internet Explorer, you will have to configure IE settings to "Always Allow the Blocked Content".
  2. Some of these links will re-direct you to the Equinox Developers Support (EDS) portal. This web portal requires a Username and Password. To get access, simply click on the Request New Account link and submit the completed form. Upon account approval, you will receive an email from the EDS portal team with your Username and Password (temporary) information. Simply click on the link within the email and follow the instructions to change your password. Once you have fully logged in to the EDS portal, click on the appropriate links within the SDK html pages to access application tools, test pages, documentation, etc.

SDK Tools

Below is a list of tools available with the Luxe SDK:

Platform

This section of the SDK describes external APIs used to control the Luxe family of terminals. It also contains a set of web pages that enables a software developer to write and test code that runs externally to the Luxe on the developer's POS/ECR system. Communication to the Luxe terminal is through an IP connection via the HTTP API.

Payment Engine

This section describes the Equinox Payment Engine and expands on the usage of the HTTP API payment specific commands:

Application Programmer's Guide

This section provides information that enables a software developer to write/test code using either JavaScript or C/C++ to develop HTML web pages that will run directly on their POS device or run natively on the Luxe terminal.
